Block: Scott Cam's renovated Gisborne property finally sells for 2022 tree change season – realestate.com.au
Scott Cam's renovated home from the 2022 season of The Block has finally sold for less than any other home on the show after more than a year on the market.
Although the sale price of the property, which will be sold on New Year's Eve 2024, is not official, local talk first suggested that it was sold for around $3.75 million.
That sale price would be the lowest of any house built for the show's tree-changing season in Gisborne – won by Omar and Oz – whose property sold to Danny Wallis for $5,666,666.66.

Cam's house, known as 'Camalot', was completed in 2022 along with other contenders and was first put on the market in October 2023 with an asking price of $4.1 million to $4.3 million.
It was canceled after no buyer was found, then relisted in the second half of 2024, with a price cut from $3.8 million to $3.9 million.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home features open-plan living and dining areas, a central fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, a five-car garage and workshop, and an in-ground pool.
The sale was handled by Kirrili Evans of Evans Realty Group, who said the price had not been disclosed when contacted over the weekend.
The property was purchased by Channel 9 for the show that year and built from an original cottage that had been subdivided.
Permanent Block bidder Frank Valentic, director of Advantage Property Consulting and attorney for the buyers, previously told The Herald Sun that 207 McGeorge Rd would be popular.
He also showed buyers through Camalot when The Block aired in 2022, with some commenting “it's the best house on the show”.

The property covers over 4 acres and the cottage was originally built in 1866.
The renovation, led by Cam, added an extension to the house, landscaping and an in-ground pool to create a luxurious country retreat.
It was not auctioned while it was being repaired by the contestants.
Instead, it was held back before officially hitting the market in October 2023.
In the show's final episode in 2022, only three homes were sold on auction day. Tom and Jane's sold for $4.1 million and Rachel and Ryan's sold for $4.25 million in post-auction negotiations after Omar and Oz won the top prize with their $5.666 million sale.
Ankur and Sharon's house was moved in and the couple had to wait a week before it was revealed that Adrian Portelli had also bought their house for $4.25 million.
had to wait until May 2023 to secure the sale of their home, they were the most unlucky of the team on the show that season. Finally, it was bought for $3.9 million, $180,000 less than the auction day reserve.
The block moves to Daylesford in 2025, with pre-production and construction underway.
Channel 9 has reportedly paid $9.4 million for former farmland on the edge of a tourist town in regional Victoria.
